MISSION
The Alabama Clergy Council is an alliance of pastors and Christian
leaders dedicated to standing for God's truth in society. We are committed
to speak and act to promote a free, just, and godly society.
METHOD
The Alabama Clergy Council will fulfill its mission through the
following means:
Sponsoring and participating in rallies featuring religious,
government, and community leaders.
Providing educational and informative speakers for civic and religious
groups.
Offering citizen education programs with a biblical worldview that
teach the responsibilities of citizenship.
Networking with other Christian groups that share our values.
Advocating social responsibility based on Christian principles in
public forums.
VALUES
The Alabama Clergy Council affirms these values:
Almighty God has created mankind to honor and serve him.
It is the duty of all men to acknowledge God and his divine authority.
No person has the right to do what God has forbidden.
Every segment of society should be influenced by respect for God's
authority.
The rights and liberty of mankind come from the hand of Almighty God,
not from the will of any government, constitution, or creed.
The United States of America was established and led by God-fearing
men. Our nation must continue to acknowledge and revere the commandments
of God.
The State of Alabama has a Christian heritage. Its leaders and
citizens must continue to acknowledge and revere the commandments of God.
